Phone Blogging for WordPress?

The newest feature from the world’s most popular blogging platform is finally here: phone blogging.

Gone are the days of dashing to your PC to quickly bash out the day’s events while they’re still lingering in your head. You can simply pick up the phone, dial Wordpress and launch your words into cyberspace… without even touching your keyboard.

This new development means that you can literally blog from anywhere.

If you’re running a Wordpress blog, you can enable this feature by going to your My Blogs tab, enabling ‘post by voice’, and get a unique special number and code to call your blog. What this does is publish an audio clip to your blog – like a podcast – with your post title.

We’re yet to try this out for the Websalad blog, simply because Wordpress has not yet come out with support for global numbers and presently it’s for US bloggers only.

Keep an eye on this one though, we’re predicting that this trend will kick-off internationally in the up and coming year.
