Entoure Website – Phase Four

This month we have quite a challenge in store for us. There is a percentage of Entoure’s user base that is having a bit of trouble with the compatibility of the website in their nominated IE6 interfaces. Because it is imperative for them to be able to sign up and contribute to the website, we’ve agreed to undertake cross-browser compatibility of the Entoure website for Internet Explorer V.6.

Besides, who doesn’t like a challenge!?

So far we’ve found that a lot of the issues that are appearing in IE6 are primarily concerned with the CSS3 elements of the website because IE6 doesn’t provide support. As a result, we’ve switched some of the dynamic CSS3 elements to jQuery, and we’ve set up an IE6 only stylesheet.

So how about the progress of the site to date? Well, the site’s primary objective is to raise money for its designated charity. Since the launch of the site in February, the new online portal for Entoure has generated close to $232,000 dollars via donations and event registrations.
