Uncovering the Online Conversion basics
Online conversions are associated with targetted clients or consumers attribute measureable value to your business when participating in a desired action on your landing page. A basic description of a landing page is the point at which an Internet visitor lands on your websites – landing pages can be classed as either connected or separate to your website. When understanding online conversions, we look at the desired action as being either a purchase, download, form-fill or even something as simple as having someone click through to another page on your website. When measuring online conversions we look at the level of interaction between customers and a particular feature of your site (online virtual tours etc.). Conversion rates are the percentage of visitors to your website or landing page who attribute value to your business.
